FREUND ELECTED TO BOARD OF DIRECTORS MAHWAH REGIONAL CHAMBER OF COMMERCE

Mahwah, NJ (January 3, 2005) ‚ Dr. Annette S. Freund, Owner & Managing Director of Freund Associates Technical Communication in Mahwah, NJ, has been elected to the Board of Directors of the Mahwah Regional Chamber of Commerce.She holds a doctorate in English/Writing Specialist from the State University of New York at Albany and has 17 years of experience in technical documentation and training, plus 14 years of university teaching experience. In 2003, her company achieved national certification as a woman-owned business through the Womenís Business Enterprise National Council. A native of Bismarck, ND, Annette is a 15-year resident of Mahwah, where she lives with her husband, John; their 14-year-old daughter, Kathryn; and 12-year-old son, Stephen.

Founded in 1957, the Mahwah Regional Chamber of Commerce is a dynamic organization of over 300 businesses located in Mahwah and surrounding areas. The Chamber’s membership includes retail, professional, service and corporate businesses, both large and small. Its primary objective is to be an advocate for the local business community and to promote the economic growth and development of all who live and work in the greater Mahwah region.
